The reviews called it "A Play to Die For" after a woman was found dead in the front row. It didn't seem so funny the next night, when the playwright was found with his throat slashed. When Detective Kathy Mallory takes over, no one seems to be giving straight answers. But every night, an unseen hand that chalks up line changes on a blackboard is writing Mallory into the play. "Mallory, " the blackboard now reads, "tonight's the night. Nothing personal."
