About
The story of three women -- a mother, her daughter, and a prostitute -- in Algiers during the winter of 2003 who have been living in a hotel at the centre of town when the violence begins. The daughter lives an adventurous life working for a photographer, taking a rich lover, and going to clubs. Her friend, the prostitute, works for a powerful john. The mother bides her time, torn between fear and nostalgia.
